Event Overview
This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of the IRS collection process, from initial notice to enforcement actions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the recent resurgence of IRS automated (computer-initiated) collections and how practitioners can effectively respond. The session will cover critical notices such as the Final Notice of Intent to Levy and explore taxpayer rights and options under the Collection Due Process (CDP) and Collection Appeals Program (CAP).
