CPE Credit: 4 hours for CPAs
This program is for New York CPAs to fulfill their state ethics requirements.
Participants will explore Ethical Foundations, including concepts, moral development, judgment, values, the role of rules of ethics, and ethical dilemmas. Additionally, we will cover Ethical Guidance, including the role of the Office of Professions, New York state rules on ethics, the AICPA rules on ethics, the New York State Society of CPAs rules, and enforcement of rules on ethics.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Familiarize participants with the elements of Ethics Foundations and specifically review the Ethical Guidance of the AICPA, State of New York, and State Society.
- Review the legal and ethical rules for CPAs practicing in the State of New York.
