Emmet founded Good Soil Investment Management (“Good Soil”) on the principle that an asset management company can benefit both its investors and society. Good Soil is the general partner of Accelerated. Fifty percent of both the management and performance fees accruing to Good Soil from Accelerated are distributed amongst charities selected for their mission, integrity and effectiveness.
Matt Smith, Managing Partner, Good Soil Investment Management
Matt joined Good Soil in 2021 to assist in portfolio management and fund operations. Matt has a successful history of outstanding returns in his personal portfolio, born out of independent thinking and strong fundamental analysis. Matt’s career in finance started as a valuation analyst for Andersen Tax, where he gained broad experience valuing companies and assets using DCF, options, and market-based valuation methodologies.
Promit Bhattacharya, Chief Financial Officer, Top Tier Capital Partners
Promit is the chief financial officer and a member of the leadership team at Top Tier Capital Partners (Top Tier). He leads the finance team and is responsible for the accounting, operations, and financial reporting of Top Tier Capital and its funds. He joined Top Tier in 2020.
Yuan DuBord, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, PFM Health Sciences
Prior to joining PFM Health Sciences in 2007, Yuan was an audit senior manager in the Asset Management Group at Ernst & Young. Prior to Ernst & Young, she was the controller and chief compliance officer at Triatto Capital Management. Before Triatto, Yuan was an audit manager in the Asset Management Group at Ernst & Young.
Alex Kamenetskiy, Chief Operating Officer, Munich Re Ventures
Alex partners closely with the head of Munich Re Ventures on all aspects of running the group, including all investment and investment management processes and systems, strategy of the program, financial oversight, talent acquisition and retention, facilities, and marketing and events. His primary responsibilities are scaling the organization and execution capabilities across geographies, investment sectors, Munich Re businesses, and a growing number of portfolio companies. Previously, he was the global finance lead: revenue, operations and supply chain at The Climate Corporation.
