Program description: With proposed changes that both discourage offshore and promote onshore investments, the next highly anticipated federal tax plan is attracting attention in the international tax community. The plan, which should be of interest to companies with current international holdings and those with the intention of expanding outside the United States, is expected to raise over $2 trillion within 15 years through tax rate increases, the elimination of incentives, and more.
Program level: Intermediate

Prerequisites: Current or past experience with international tax planning and/or implementation issues.
