Construction Audit Toolbox: a construction contract controls and construction audit webinar series

The rate of change impacting facility development and the construction industry is happening at a record pace. Industries are faced with obstacles including, but not limited to, COVID-19, environmental efforts such as reducing the carbon footprint, and supply chain shortages. In a culture of rapid change, project controls may be weakened by new project variables therefore exposing your facility development to fraud and abuse.

In this webinar, attendees will learn how to evaluate the construction environment to identify risk, fraud and financial impacts. Additionally, participants will:

  • Gain the knowledge to differentiate between construction fraud, negligence and carelessness
  • Learn contracting strategies that minimize construction financial risk
  • Utilize case studies to understand where in the construction lifecycle risk exists and how it may be mitigated

 Who should attend:

  • Internal audit professionals
  • Facility administrators
  • Chief Financial Officers (CFOs)
