Contractor integrity and the complicated nature of procurement fraud in government contracting

July 13 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Grant Thornton CPE Webinars

Participants of the free live webinar will be eligible for 1 CPE credits.

Program Content: Professional services organizations working with state or federal agencies walk a fine line when it comes to procurement. There can be certain advantages when you know the players and the process, but there are also gray areas and behaviors that can cross the line. The incentive to win major contracts can lead individuals and even companies to engage in corrupt and fraudulent behavior. So how does procurement fraud happen and who should be concerned?

During this webcast, Grant Thornton leaders will discuss issues surrounding ethics, unfair competition, and preferential treatment, including examples of instances that are ok and those that cross the line.
