Finally GILTI: Treasury finalizes the GILTI rules, proposes some major tweaks to the system, and narrows the application of 245A

July 15, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT

Free

Participants of the live webinar will be eligible for 1.5 free CPE credit.

Program Content:The IRS released regulations on June 14 addressing a variety of topics including global intangible low-taxed income (GILTI), foreign tax credits, and the dividends received deduction under Sec. 245A. The final regulations provide much needed certainty to taxpayers, but were largely outshone by a proposed GILTI high-tax exclusion that, if finalized, would redefine the GILTI paradigm. Join our Washington National tax office specialists to help you understand the impact that the regulations may have on your organization.

Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the proposed, final and temporary regulations issued on June 14, 2019
  • Identify unique fact patterns to which the regulations apply and assess the impact
  • Describe how the regulations may impact your organization

  • David Sites, National Managing Partner, International Tax Services, Washington National Tax Office
  • David Zaiken, Managing Director, Washington National Tax Office
  • Cory Perry, Senior Manager, Washington National Tax Office
