Revisions introduced by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) will significantly change accounting and reporting requirements for organizations.

Join us for our webcast, Governmental Accounting Standards Board Update, in which we’ll discuss GASB Statement Numbers 87, 94, 96, and 97, and their potential impacts on governmental entities’ financial statements and overall financial reporting. We’ll also cover related implementation guidelines and lessons learned from early adopters.

Amanda has practiced public accounting since 2000 and serves clients in the government and not-for-profit industries. She has provided a range of services to her tax-exempt clients, including audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. Amanda leads the not-for-profit and government group in the firm’s Medford location.

Ashley Osten, CPA, Partner, Moss Adams

Ashley has practiced public accounting since 2005. She provides accounting, auditing, and consulting services to a wide variety of state and local governments and not-for-profit organizations. She also has experience conducting audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and the audit provisions of the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (federal compliance audit).

After completing this training, participants will be able to; identify the major revisions of recent GASB pronouncements; describe GASB’s recent statements and their impact on governmental entities; and identify timeline and steps to take to prepare for the implementation of the standards.
