Yogi Berra once said “The future ain’t what it used to be!”  2020 has presented many daunting challenges to businesses.  Government contractors are not insulated from the impact of challenges and many of these will eventually bubble up through indirect rates used in pricing current and future contracts.  Please join DHG’s GovCon Advisory team members Bill Walter, Gary McDonald and Steve Trautwein as they discuss the benefits of “refocusing’ on cost accounting to help ensure that your company can Emerge Strong.

The panelists will discuss such topics as:
  • Isolating sources of turbulence:
    • Cause and effect
    • Impact on funding
    • Impact on cost structure
  • Focus on cost pools:
    • What is causing the turbulence
    • Dealing with known and unknown cost fluctuations
    • Budgeting strategies
  • Focus on allocation bases:
    • COVID impact on direct costs
    • Impact of legislation and guidance – 3610, PPP, taxes
