Program Content: The Research & Development (“R&D”) Tax Credit provides a dollar-for-dollar reduction in tax liability for “qualified activities” undertaken by a company each tax year. Many financial institutions incur significant costs to develop and enhance software and system infrastructure to serve their customers and achieve operational efficiencies but are not taking advantage of this credit to offset these expenditures.
