Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is technology that allows companies to build, deploy and manage software robots that emulate human actions interacting with digital systems and software. The planning phase of an RPA program is the perfect opportunity for Internal Audit teams to identify risks and make sure the right controls are in place, thereby setting programs up for success from the start. In this session, our team will take a deep dive into RPA and discuss risk and audit considerations. What risks exist and what mitigating controls should be put into place to address those risks.
