Very few organizations do not use third-party service providers for some part of their business operations. From physical hosting and cloud environments to software development and vulnerability management, we rely on those who specialize in other fields to securely operate our businesses. Conversely, it is through these same services that organizations are breached to steal proprietary information, sell data, or be the victim of ransomware. This presentation will discuss the current threat landscape and exploits, security considerations when using third parties, how to mitigate those risks, and the questions companies should be asking.
