Data-driven governance: Automating end-to-end issue management for executive oversight

Many organizations struggle with reactive and siloed issue remediation, which often results in a lack of centralized visibility and inconsistent data accuracy. This session focuses on the end-to-end automation of the issue management lifecycle using AuditBoard’s CrossComply module. We will explore how Collibra shifted from manual consolidation to a centralized “single source of truth,” integrating automated workflows for issue identification, action planning, and progress tracking. A primary focus will be on the “cross-functional ripple effect,” demonstrating how automated notifications and direct evidence uploads empower IT, legal, and finance teams to own their remediation data. Finally, we will showcase how to translate this automated data into highly customized, real-time dashboards that provide senior leadership with the strategic oversight and trend analysis needed to prioritize high-risk areas and drive informed decision-making.
