Modernizing Segregation of Duties: Implications for Internal Audit Leaders

Segregation of duties (SoD) remains a cornerstone of effective internal control, yet evolving business models, increased automation, and changing workforce structures continue to introduce new risks. This session provides internal audit leaders with an update on the approach, scope, tools, and skills required to properly identify, assess, analyze and address SoD risks in today’s environment. Participants will explore how SoD risks and mitigations continue to be of the utmost importance across functions and systems, and how internal audit can adapt its approach to provide meaningful assurance and advisory value.
