Bridging the AI oversight gap: Moving from policy to operationalized control

April 8 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT
Description:
As organizations rapidly integrate AI into core operations, a dangerous “exposure gap” has emerged: Adoption is scaling, but governance controls are not. This webinar explores findings from a global survey of 822 GRC and IT decision-makers to identify why traditional oversight is falling behind, especially as agentic AI begins to bypass human decision loops. We will examine the structural failures of distributed ownership, the rise of shadow AI, and the urgent need to move from “paper-based” policies to automated, workflow-embedded controls. Attendees will receive a maturity roadmap to transition their AI governance from a reactive state to a strategic, unified risk infrastructure.
Learning objectives:
- Identify the primary friction points between rapid AI deployment and effective risk management.
- Evaluate their organization’s AI governance maturity across four distinct levels.
- Analyze the “human layer” as a risk surface and implement workflow-embedded controls to mitigate shadow AI and social engineering.
- Develop a phased roadmap to unify AI and cyber risk visibility into a single, automated GRC system of action.
