Future of Fintech: Digital Assets, TPRM, and BaaS

July 30, 2025 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm EDT
Event details
Fintech and sponsor bank leaders are striving to remain competitive, compliant, and secure in an increasingly complex landscape. In our July 30 installment of the “Future of Fintech” series, Crowe specialists will explore key risks and responses on three critical dimensions of today’s fintech ecosystem: digital assets, the nuances of third-party risk management for bank-fintech arrangements, and internal audit considerations in the context of banking as a service (BaaS) models.
During this session, we’ll explore:
- Digital assets (30 mins): Explore key use cases for digital assets and assess associated operational, legal, and technological risks to better inform strategic and risk management decisions.
- Bank-fintech arrangements (30 mins): Gain practical insights from one of the architects of the guidance on evaluating and managing risk throughout the third-party life cycle, including governance frameworks, due diligence, monitoring protocols, offboarding, and business continuity planning.
- Internal audit (20 mins): Learn how internal audit functions must adapt to address the unique risks and complexities in the BaaS ecosystem.
