International tax talk quarterly series with the EY Global Tax Desk Network – June 2026

EY Free CPE Webinars

June 17 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm EDT

Free 1.2 CPE credits

Globally integrated businesses continue to drive internationally mobile workforces, with large numbers of personnel now required — or requesting — to work flexibly across jurisdictions or to relocate permanently to different regions. Businesses and tax functions must meet that operational demand to manage and retain talent, while remaining sufficiently flexible to adapt to global events.

The need for agile mobility management comes as international taxation rules for businesses evolve and countries take different approaches to attract high earners or otherwise remodel their personal taxation regimes to meet broader policy objectives.

In this session we will explore some of the local-country and regional perspectives on these trends, including how:

  • Permanent establishment rules of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and different countries are affecting businesses and their mobile workers from a tax perspective
  • The movement of significant people or functions on short notice can affect transfer pricing and how existing operating models can be adjusted to align with these changes
  • Countries are reshaping their personal taxation regimes as they seek to meet their policy objectives

Learning objectives

Identify the latest international mobility trends, key business tax issues resulting from a globally mobile workforce, and key personal tax regimes.
