Is Your Organization NMTC Ready? Strategies for Funding Preparation

Our New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) team, along with Community Development Entity (CDE), Midwest Renewable Capital, will provide an overview of the NMTC Program and process and how the program benefits organizations and their communities. We’ll discuss strategies on how your organization can prepare for NMTC funding, including overall project readiness, specific criteria CDEs consider when evaluating projects, and what happens when your project is selected for funding. We’ll also share insight into common mistakes that organizations make and best practices on how you can position your projects for success when receiving NMTC funding.

- Describe how NMTC Program funding benefits organizations and their local communities.
- Explain how CDEs evaluate projects and make investment decisions.
- Prepare your organization for the NMTC Program from starting the process to project selection by a CDE, and through to receiving NMTC funding.
