As stewards of public resources, tax-exempt entities must meet a number of compliance requirements each year depending on size, location, funding sources, and more.

While we have seen some changes in recent years to change and loosen requirements, fraud headlines and misuse of funding situations have led to increased scrutiny and requirements in others. All of this while the cost of compliance services is rising due to factors like accountant shortages and required investments in technology.
