Organisational culture: GRC’s evolving role

July 22, 2025 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am EDT

Free 1 CPE credit

Description:

Organisational culture — “the way things are done here” — can either be a key driver or an obstacle to success. Amongst countless other risks organisations must address, it’s easy for culture to be overlooked. Yet, culture impacts employee performance, whether top talent will join your organisation, and how customers view your company, making managing culture risk essential to achieving business objectives. Drawing on the results of a recent research report from Richard Chambers and AuditBoard, explore key culture risk indicators, how internal audit, risk management, and compliance teams are currently involved, and how you can play a vital role in ensuring a healthy culture at your organisation.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the roles of audit, risk, and compliance in organisational culture.
  • Identify key culture-related risks and common barriers to effective assessment and management of these risks.
  • Incorporate culture KRIs and guiding principles into their processes to assess and monitor culture at their organisations.
