Syed has practiced public accounting since 2008. He has extensive experience providing accounting and consulting services to alternative investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, hedge, credit, and real estate funds. He also has experience providing accounting services to corporate offices of alternative investment funds.

Brittain Cunningham, CPA, Director, Moss Adams

Brittain has practiced public accounting since 2003, with a specialization in US international taxation. He assists clients with cross-border income and estate tax planning. Brittain’s practice focus is private owners of multinational companies, venture capital and private equity, and individuals with complex US international financial interests. His passion is to help individuals, investors, and business leaders understand and navigate complex international tax rules so they can focus on building financial wealth.

Sterling Smith, CPA, CFA, Director, Moss Adams

Sterling practiced public accounting starting in 1997 before transitioning into the investment banking industry in 2003. As an investment banker, he represented public and private companies and investors in a broad range of industries, including enterprise software and B2B technology-enabled business services, data analytics and information services, and healthcare and healthcare technology sectors. His experience with mergers and acquisitions and growth capital raises enables him to advise clients on a range of corporate finance transactions services.

Jason Munn, CPA, Partner, Moss Adams

Jason has practiced public accounting since 1996. He works with manufacturing and technology companies, as well as financial institutions and telecommunication companies. Jason advises his clients on a wide array of domestic and international tax matters, from standard compliance issues to complex transactional planning. He manages personnel and works directly with clients to ensure tax planning is conducted on a timely and proactive basis.

Dylan Peters, CPA, Senior Manager, Moss Adams

Dylan has practiced public accounting since joining the firm in 2014. His primary focus is managing financial statement audits for employee benefit plans including 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit pension, and health and welfare plans. He has experience in financial statement and regulatory compliance audits for broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, trust banks, and pooled investment vehicles such as hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds.

Sheetal Sewal, CPA, Partner, Moss Adams

Sheetal has practiced public accounting since 1996. She is part of the venture fund tax practice of the Silicon Valley location and has extensive experience with partnership tax issues and specializes in the venture fund industry. Sheetal also provides tax planning and compliance services to individuals, families, and the entities they own.

Stuart Myhill, CPA, Partner, Moss Adams

Stu has practiced public accounting since 1993. He specializes in domestic and international tax compliance, consulting on international tax issues, tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound tax structuring, advising on transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes (ASC 740). Stu primarily serves clients in the technology, manufacturing and distribution, and extractive industries.
