Companies face increased pressure to maintain up-to-date and effective controls to comply with both the FCPA and Export Control Regulations. In 2020 the Deputy Attorney General called sanctions “the new FCPA,” signaling a new era of aggressive corporate enforcement matched by increased government resources.

We will also review the overlap of FCPA and export control red flags, mitigation techniques, international enforcement agency coordination, and what to do when a potential violation occurs.
