Are You Prepared for Sustainability, Climate & AI Regulations?

BDO Free CPE Webinars

March 14 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm EDT

Free 1 CPE credit

Over the past year, domestic and foreign policymakers have rolled out far-reaching sustainability rules that will require many U.S. companies to disclose their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate risks, obtain assurance, and protect sensitive data.

To stay afloat amid this evolving environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulatory landscape, organizations need to understand and accelerate the adoption of mandatory and proposed sustainability requirements including:

  • The European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • California’s Senate Bill 253, Senate Bill 261 and Assembly Bill 1305
  • The SEC’s proposed climate risk and GHG emissions disclosure rules

Join our discussion with sustainability leaders from BDO and Henry Schein to learn how to identify what is material to your business, how to prepare your disclosures, provide assurance and protect your data, and communicate with stakeholders to comply with new and forthcoming regulations. We also help you identify synergies between the various requirements to facilitate streamlined reporting, collect data and establish controls, and integrate sustainability into your operating model.

The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) systems and the speed of technology are outpacing regulation. Over the last year, an influx of Global and domestic AI-related rules and regulations have emerged to meet the pace of AI technology.

  • BDO’s AI & AI Bias leader will discuss Responsible AI (RAI) and how to prepare for current and pending AI regulations.
