Beyond the audit: Executive influence

This session brings together leaders who started careers in public accounting and changed course to influence organizations beyond the traditional audit role. Partner Matthew Bohdan will be joined by Korey Thomas, vice president of audit at Whirlpool Corporation, and Jason Burchardt, vice president of internal audit at Perrigo Company, to share candid insights on how audit experience can shape leadership, decision-making, and enterprise-level value. The panel discussion will highlight common assumptions about audit, explore what differentiates technical excellence from advisory influence, and share how leaders intentionally develop the next generation.
