Technical writing is a balancing act and one that is critical in the Internal Audit profession. Documents must be precise enough to cover subject matter yet general enough to apply to numerous projects. Join us for this skills development training as a technical writing professional shares steps that need to be taken to create high-quality technical documents, including the creation of document plans and planning organizational meetings with stakeholders and reviewers. While aimed at beginner- to intermediate-level internal audit team members, the course will remind experienced professionals that technical writing always includes reviewers and approvers at different levels of expertise in the subject matter, and will validate the use of skills, tools and best practices for creating high-quality technical documents.
