Return to work, the great resignation, quiet quitting, agile resourcing, upskilling — there is no shortage of talent themes and buzzwords keeping people leaders and HR business partners on their toes. These challenges impact how companies operate, how audit engagements are executed, and how audit plans are completed. Audit leaders are uniquely positioned to build engagement to create high-performing teams. While these teams may not be immune to the next “big thing”, genuine trust, coaching, inclusion, and care will differentiate high-impact audit, risk, and compliance functions. In this session, audit leaders will share the strategies that have worked well for them in this area (and what hasn’t worked as well).
