Illinois Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act

The state of Illinois unclaimed property program under the new Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act is a little over 6 years old, with various adjustments and changes that have transpired since its inception. This webcast will provide an overview of the program, followed by a discussion of compliance requirements, voluntary disclosure, self-audit, and audit practices, along with best practices for escheatment.
Representatives from the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office will also provide an update on its reimbursement efforts and overall compliance expectations. Join BDO, HMB Law, and Illinois State Treasurer’s Office for this important CPE-qualified webcast.
