Reimagining fintech model risk management
November 6, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EST
FreeParticipants of the free live webinar will be eligible for 1 CPE credit.
Relationships between fintechs and financial services organizations are becoming more active and intricate. When a fintech offering includes modeling capabilities, a financial services organization often holds responsibility for governing the risk of those models. But that doesn’t mean a fintech can’t contribute to that governance.
In this next session of our “The Future of Fintech” webinar series, we will examine the demands of risk management governance and the approaches a fintech can take to support model risk management expectations. Although this webinar will focus on fintechs, members of financial services organizations are also welcome to attend.
This session is eligible for 1.0 hour of CPE credit.
You should leave this session with the ability to:
- Provide a high-level overview of supervisory guidance related to model risk management
- Outline activities to complete and document ahead of a model validation
- Define model validation requirements
