2024 Annual cyber predictions

Baker Tilly CPE Webinars

January 25 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm EST

Free 1 CPE credit

2023 proved itself to be yet another unorthodox and unpredictable year, and organizations in every industry are constantly facing new challenges. As technology expands and takes on new forms within our day-to-day lives, the cybersecurity programs protecting your organization’s data need to be adapted to fit the changing environment. Any information assets and technology investments left ungoverned and unprotected will leave your organization vulnerable to compromise.

To help combat these challenges, our cybersecurity specialists teamed up to develop our annual cyber predictions that we feel all organizations should be aware of as we move into the new year. During this informative webinar, Ben Hobby, Chris Tait and Bernard Regan will provide a rundown of the latest cybersecurity updates, discuss their predictions for what your organization may face in 2024 and review what we got right (and wrong) from our 2023 predictions. Questions will be encouraged throughout the webinar.

Learning objectives:

  1. Discuss the current cybersecurity environment and review major events from 2023
  2. Review cybersecurity predictions for 2024
  3. Learn more about how your organization can prepare for possible cybersecurity events that may impact it
  4. Identify the factors that contribute to the changing cybersecurity landscape, including an increased focus on vendor risk management, regulatory scrutiny, cyber breaches and more
