No one loves to sit down and do billing; a situation is made worse as you look at the time incurred and try and figure out what you can possibly include on a bill. Invoicing is easier when you talk price and not hours. Clients actually prefer it and your staff appreciates it. The shift to up-front pricing is becoming more imperative with the use of technology, staffing shortages and the focus on advisory, too. We’ll be diving into pricing trends in the industry today to see what accountants are doing, what shifts they are considering and how clients are responding.
